I, Nirvaan Somany, studying in grade 12 at The Shri Ram School Moulsari, am extremely passionate about the environment and wanted to do something to help our planet and the under privileged in my own small way. We collect and then convert used denim into sleeping bags for the needy. Our aim is to help the environment and the homeless. We also do awareness sessions for educational institutions and corporates to spread awareness about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. I had initially conceived of this initiative & product in 2019, as a part of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy.  Now, I have taken it forward and my project is underway. To disseminate knowledge about the environment, I publish a monthly newsletter called "EnviroNotes" which is distributed amongst children in government schools.
